| Kevin Geary's grandfather and great grandfather were both marine artists. In the 1970s Geary exhibited several seascapes at the Nicholas Henderson Gallery in St. James, London before turning his attention towards other subject matter. During a visit to Ireland in 2004, the artist was once again inspired to return to this genre, this time adopting his characteristic abstract technique. For the past six years Geary has pursued his marine scenes with renewed vigour and they have been well received by his loyal client base. |
